Who is Colleen Newell?

Colleen joined MFA in 2023, bringing with her over eight years of communications and outreach experience. Having worked extensively with both educational and nonprofit organizations, she is well-versed in providing a range of communication services in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. In her previous work with schools, Colleen helped to implement successful fundraising campaigns and elevate communication strategies to meet and exceed the schools’ development, admissions, and engagement goals. In addition to her work experience, she has an educational background in environmental studies and graphic design, giving her a unique and well-rounded approach to her work. Colleen is passionate about the strategic and collaborative process of communications and is excited to join the talented team at MFA.

Rain or shine, Colleen can be found running, biking, bouldering, and playing soccer. When she’s not chasing her next adventure, Colleen enjoys practicing improv with her troupe or trying out the newest board game in her collection.
