Who is Claire Moerder?

Claire brings creativity and a collaborative spirit to her work, backed by her diverse experience in research, program coordination, education, and customer service. As a research and coordination professional for the National Academy of Sciences, she facilitated a wide variety of programs and publications within the global health sphere, covering topics such as violence prevention, health-focused public-private partnerships, conflict and security issues, and environmental health risks and solutions. She is particularly inspired by multidisciplinary projects that integrate a myriad of voices and expertise toward a shared goal, which is one of the many reasons she’s excited to be a part of MFA.

With a professional history that spans public education, client services, and research in global health science and policy, Claire is a well-rounded communications professional with an eye for detail and an instinct for client satisfaction. When she’s not working, Claire finds her joy outdoors—which makes her new home in Washington a dream come true.
