Who is Chad Darby?

Chad Darby has 25 years of professional experience in the air quality science and engineering field, with project management in 35 states and 3 Canadian provinces. This includes construction and operation permitting; field source testing with the US Environmental Protection Agency, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and state methodologies; ambient sampling and meteorological station design and installation; pollution control evaluation (Best Available Control Technology/Reasonably Available Control Technology/Lowest Achievable Emission Rate); historical compliance investigations (New Source Review/Prevention of Significant Deterioration); multi-media compliance auditing; risk management planning; compliance assurance monitoring planning; Maximum Available Control Technology  applicability; strategy development; and compliance demonstration. Chad has also been responsible for reviewing energy facility site certificate applications for the Oregon Energy Facility Siting Council and the Washington Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council.
