Who is Chad Darby?
Chad has 28 years of professional experience in the air quality science and engineering field, with project management in 35 states and three Canadian provinces. This includes construction and operation permitting; field source testing using the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and state methodologies; ambient sampling and meteorological station design and installation; pollution control evaluation; historical compliance investigations; multi-media compliance auditing; risk management planning; strategy development; and compliance demonstration. Chad believes that air quality as a discipline is the perfect blend of engineering and science applied to environmental concerns, and he employs the principles of chemistry, physics, mathematics, and engineering daily to create outcomes that benefit his clients as well as the environment.
Chad has been responsible for reviewing energy facility site certificate applications for the Oregon Energy Facility Siting Council and the Washington Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council, and also provides expert witness testimony as a subject matter expert.
