MFA Promotes Audrey Hackett to Principal Environmental Scientist

Expertise & Impact

With nearly two decades of experience in environmental consulting, Audrey has built a strong reputation for her steady leadership, deep regulatory insight, and ability to bring clarity and structure to complex cleanup efforts. Based in MFA’s Seattle office, she serves both public and private clients across the Pacific Northwest, leading the investigation and cleanup of contaminated properties.

Audrey’s experience spans a broad range of environmental projects, from conducting and managing Phase I and II environmental site assessments to developing cleanup strategies for complex upland and sediment sites regulated under CERCLA and Washington’s Model Toxics Control Act. She has led team investigation of and reporting on large and small complex sites with contamination in multiple media for multiple types of contaminants and overseen the development of feasibility studies. Audrey has significant experience managing cleanup allocation and cost recovery litigation support projects, providing technical and strategic support to MFA’s attorney clients.

Audrey also leads MFA’s business development efforts for the Ports sector, helping MFA’s port clients in achieving their operational objectives, and shaping MFA’s strategy and pursuit of new opportunities across the Pacific Northwest. Her leadership in this sector is backed by hands-on experience managing environmental support services for port clients, including her role as project manager for MFA’s on-call contract with the Port of Tacoma.
