Read More About Ted

I started in the environmental profession at a time when many problems existed. With MFA, I have had the pleasure of helping clean up some of the most contaminated sites in our local communities and across the country. I love working on derelict properties that—through revitalization—have the potential to improve the surrounding community with new jobs, parks, and schools. Tackling environmental issues at these sites so that they can be reincorporated into the community is always very rewarding.

Who is Ted Wall, PE?

Ted provides senior support for a broad range of projects, with a focus on brownfields and site redevelopment. He has over 30 years of project strategy and project management experience in the brownfields, civil engineering, and environmental engineering fields. He has been responsible for a wide range of investigation, design, and construction programs and projects on sites in which economic opportunities exist but are stymied by environmental impairments. Ted has led or is otherwise intimately involved in all MFA brownfields efforts in Oregon and many throughout the Northwest. Ted has been involved in regulatory and policy analysis, interpretation, and application as these relate to site conditions, risk assessment, planned remedial actions, and systems compliance. These efforts have involved the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act; Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA); Toxic Substances Control Act; and other local, state, and federal hazardous waste, solid waste, contaminated-site cleanup, stormwater, and resource-conservation programs. Ted has over 25 years of private-sector engineering and consulting experience. Additionally, for five years he worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in the Superfund and RCRA programs.
