Who is Tyler Vick?

Mr. Vick manages services related to Geographic Information Systems, remote sensing technologies, and data management at MFA. Mr. Vick’s experience at MFA includes working as an environmental scientist specializing in environmental due diligence and environmental site assessments. He has 14 years of experience in the geospatial, environmental, biological, and agricultural research fields. Mr. Vick’s education background includes a bachelor of science in environmental studies and a master of science in geography with an emphasis in advanced geospatial and geostatistical analysis, particularly environmental and land use analysis.

Mr. Vick has integrated the wide-ranging capabilities of GIS and data management throughout MFA’s environmental, engineering, planning, landscape architecture, and natural resource service areas. He oversees the development of GIS and data management technologies and provides project management on the firm’s most complex jobs. He specializes in providing GIS and database development and implementation strategies for both private and municipal clients.

Mr. Vick’s GIS capabilities include advanced geospatial analysis and modeling, land use and demographic analysis, relational database design and management, aerial and satellite image analysis, custom Web mapping, 3D modeling and animation rendering, subsurface geological and contaminant modeling, collecting and manipulating global positioning systems data, cartography, and marketing analysis.
