Who is Rachael Woods?

Ms. Woods brings with her 15 years of experience producing and managing high-quality environmental data. Her laboratory experience includes the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of instruments including HPLC, GC/MS, IC, GFAA, Flame-AA, and FIA (Lachat). She has analyzed samples in various matrices by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency-approved methods. Ms. Woods previously worked as a chemist and technical director for a USEPA contract laboratory in Corvallis, OR, where she provided quality assurance and quality control oversight and wrote standard operating procedures, training documents, and data quality summary reports. Ms. Woods has also trained others in the use of analytical instrumentation and QA/QC. Ms. Woods worked as the data quality specialist for the State of Oregon Drinking Water Program, where she operated as a liaison between regulators, natural resource specialists, engineers, and laboratories to ensure high-quality data. She has experience with data storage, retrieval, and validation and has used Microsoft® Access®, MS Excel®, Laboratory Information Management Systems, and the Safe Drinking Water Information System.
