Who is Patricia Collins?

Patricia brings decades of picky reading and careful parsing to MFA. She loves how writers join words and phrases to tell a story. Whether that story is a technical report, website copy, or marketing material, she believes that an editor’s job is to ensure that the reader can focus on the message. Patricia is happy to serve in a role where she can ferret out errors and clarify muddy sentences so MFA’s excellent work can shine.

Patricia loves learning new things in formal and informal settings. She always has at least one book to read, one movie to review, and one too many other interests. Patricia has been known to emit a triumphant chuckle when finding—and fixing—particularly tricky error.
