Who is Nathan Jones?

Mr. Jones has four years of geospatial experience, primarily supporting federal planning, asset management, and environmental projects. His educational background includes a Bachelors of Arts in Geography and Environmental Studies, as well as an undergraduate certificate in Geographic Information Systems.

Mr. Jones uses ArcGIS, and supporting geospatial software, to visualize and analyze geographic data to solve complex problems and better understand the world around us. His GIS capabilities include 2D and 3D visualization, geospatial analysis, cartographic design and post-processing, database creation/maintenance, Web mapping, and workflow development. He also has experience with field technology such as GeoPlanner, Collector for ArcGIS, Trimble GPS, and ArcGIS Online.

Mr. Jones has successfully used GIS to analyze coastal vulnerabilities for site planning, study metropolitan demographic information, designate land use, support asset management, and visualize planning concepts for future development. He has coordinated project team workloads, cost estimates, scopes of work, and workflows.
