Who is Michael Murray, RG, LHG, PE?
Michael has over 20 years of environmental consulting and primary scientific research experience. He manages and leads highly technical work in projects across the Pacific Northwest, including a high-profile site at the Portland Harbor Superfund site. Michael provides contaminant characterization, permitting, compliance, data analysis, and program management to a variety of client types. He works with clients, counsel, and insurance companies to ensure proper allocation of funding responsibility for complex projects.
He has significant technical experience characterizing all environmental media and all types of contaminants, specializing in chlorinated solvents such as trichloroethene. His technical background includes groundwater-system analysis, chemical fate and transport analysis, statistical analysis, risk assessment, instrumentation studies, and chemical forensics in the context of allocation of liability. In his six years of experience as an oceanographic development engineer, Michael gained an extensive background in advanced analytical techniques, instrument design, and management of complex field studies worldwide.
Michael is a member of the National Ground Water Association, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Northwest Association of Environmental Professionals.
