Who is Michael Murray, RG, LHG?

Mr. Murray has over 16 years of environmental consulting and scientific research experience. He manages and leads highly technical work in projects across the Pacific Northwest, including a high-profile site on the Portland Harbor Superfund site. Mr. Murray provides contaminant characterization, permitting, compliance, data analysis, and allocation support services to a wide range of clients, from municipalities, to ports, to industry. He has significant experience characterizing environmental media—including soil, groundwater, stormwater, sediment, surface water, drinking water, wastewater, and soil vapor—with contaminant impacts ranging from volatile organic compounds to bioaccumulative chemicals such as polychlorinated biphenyls. His technical background includes groundwater-system analysis, chemical data analysis, statistical analysis, risk assessment, instrumentation studies, and contaminant fate and transport modeling using software packages such as MATLAB. In his six years of experience as an oceanographic development engineer, Mr. Murray gained an extensive background in advanced data analysis and management of complex field instrumentation deployments in remote locations around the world.
