Having a background in wildlife biology, I was always fascinated with the geographic movements of my subject matter. While working on my master’s degree, I took a real interest in GIS to convey the movement patterns of songbirds. It didn’t hurt that I have always had a real love for maps. At MFA, I have enjoyed expanding my GIS skillset through the diversity of projects and novel geospatial applications. I also enjoy working with a variety of stakeholders and always appreciate learning more from their perspective.
