Who is Madi A. Novak?

Ms. Novak is an environmental scientist with over 16 years of experience, specializing in complex data interpretation, human health and ecological risk assessment, environmental chemistry, source control, and forensics expertise at diverse cleanup sites. She is a technical and strategic resource for a variety of clients in regulatory negotiations and litigation support. She was invited to participate in a workgroup with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality to assist in the development of a new ecological risk assessment regulatory framework. Ms. Novak has designed—and successfully negotiated with overseeing agencies—focused and cost-effective approaches to site investigation, risk assessment, and remedy selection that have resulted in significant client benefits while meeting regulatory requirements. Ms. Novak has been with MFA for 12 years and is on the board of directors.
