Who is James Peale, RG, LHG?

Mr. Peale has over 20 years of experience as a hydrogeologist in the environmental field. He has held a variety of positions at all levels of project management and responsibility, including profit and loss control for projects of over $15 million in revenue. His areas of technical expertise include investigation, assessment, remediation, and closure of impacted sites; contaminant fate and transport and groundwater modeling; statistical analysis of environmental data; and forensic evaluation in the context of allocation of liability. As a hydrogeologist and manager, Mr. Peale has demonstrated leadership in identifying, evaluating, and implementing innovative and successful solutions for complex technical environmental problems.

Mr. Peale is a technical and strategic resource for a variety of MFA clients, and has participated in policy development for contamination solutions. He regularly works with clients, counsel, and insurance companies to ensure proper allocation of funding responsibility for complex projects. He is recognized as a regional expert in chlorinated solvent site characterization and remediation, and regularly presents at national and international conferences. Mr. Peale is published in peer-reviewed literature, and has also provided expert testimony in support of environmental litigation and allocation of environmental liability.
