Who is Haley McDaniel?

Ms. McDaniel joined MFA in 2015 with a solid academic background in environmental science involving research on riparian restoration projects as well as study of heavy metals contaminants in and around the Bunker Hill Superfund site in Kellogg, ID. She has work and academic experience with multiple state, federal, and other public agencies. Her project experience includes restoration projects with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service, the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, and various private entities throughout the Northwest. Her fieldwork background includes substrate categorization of riparian areas, reintroduction of native fauna to riparian zones, sampling of emissions from industrial stacks, and extensive experience conducting work in highly remote field locations with the Forest Service. In addition, she has a solid understanding of modes of heavy metals contaminant transport and the toxicological fate of heavy metals as they relate to environmental and social impacts in affected areas. Her combined academic and work-related experience in environmental science provides Ms. McDaniel with a comprehensive range of tools that will enhance her work on MFA projects.
