Who is Haley McDaniel?

Since joining MFA in 2015, Haley has provided environmental consulting services for numerous public and private clients on projects in both Washington and Idaho. In the last five years, she has gained further experience in completing comprehensive research, litigation support, site investigations and assessments, technical writing, and management of complex, multiyear projects involving various stakeholders. Her combined academic, technical, field, and management experience provides Haley with a knowledgeable platform of capabilities that allow her to apply her skillsets and bring various entities together to accomplish common project objectives in pursuit of the client’s goals.

Haley has primarily spent her time at MFA managing various site characterization investigations related to heavy metals contamination within the Bunker Hill Superfund Site, from the initial investigation phase to the remedial action phase. While managing these investigations on behalf of the Coeur d’Alene Trust, Haley has gained invaluable experience successfully interfacing with the public, public agencies, private businesses, design engineering firms, archeologists, and subcontractors, all while promoting high quality investigative work. Her extensive field experience, primarily in remote areas, encompasses work in measuring and analyzing stream discharge; thermal imaging of stream discharge; geologic logging of subsurface materials; overseeing dive operations with underwater sediment sampling; overseeing monitoring well installation and development; conducting geophysical surveys to find hidden subterranean features; and conducting groundwater, surface water, soil, and sediment sampling.

A life-long resident of the Silver Valley, Haley enjoys sharing her love of the area and its natural spaces by taking her husband and two-year-old son on as many outdoor adventures as possible.
