Aldo Leopold asserts that man is not conqueror of the land-community, but a member and citizen of it. We are far from an ecological utopia, so I believe that the best we can do in our complex society is to be good stewards of the land of which we are a part. Working in the environmental science and consulting industry allows me to contribute to this stewardship and inch us ever closer to ecological harmony.
