Who is Carolyn R. Wise, LHG, RG?
Over the last seven years, Carolyn has provided environmental consulting for numerous public and private clients on projects throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Throughout her career, Carolyn has gained experience in completing site assessments (including Phase I and II environmental site assessments) and characterization, remedial investigations, and remedial actions for various contaminated properties, as well as designing and leading site investigations, litigation support, and project management.
At MFA, Carolyn conducts investigations at petroleum-contaminated sites, mining sites, dry cleaning sites, wood-treating facilities, pesticide and herbicide facilities, and other hazardous-waste sites. Her field experience encompasses measuring and analyzing stream discharge; overseeing monitoring well installation and development, contaminated soil excavation, and in situ treatment application; and conducting groundwater, soil, stormwater, sediment, and subslab soil vapor sampling. She also provides construction oversight for the implementation of remedial actions at numerous contaminated properties, including the removal and closure of underground storage tanks. Carolyn’s field experience is compounded by her expertise with the most up to date computer software, programming in MATLAB®, geoprocessing in ArcGIS, and analyzing large data sets in Excel®.
