Who is Ben Johnson, AICP?
Ben brings a combination of experience in public outreach and neighborhood planning, with technical expertise in real estate, to the MFA team. Before coming to MFA, he led extensive public engagement efforts for a neighborhood-based affordable housing developer. He facilitated stakeholders coming together to craft a vision for the future of the community and helped get residents engaged in bringing this vision to fruition. This work culminated in large-scale mixed-use development that was guided by resident leadership and incorporated affordable housing, a new public high school, health services, youth arts programming, and public open space.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys exploring Seattle, hiking, and reading.
