Who is Allen Clements, RG, LG, PG?
Allen has diverse environmental consulting and scientific research experience working with state, federal, and industrial clients throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Alabama. Since joining MFA in 2017, Allen has completed site assessments and characterization, remedial investigations, and remedial actions for a range of projects involving mining, industrial stormwater permit compliance, underground storage tank decommissioning, and brownfield redevelopment. Allen’s fieldwork background includes geologic logging of subsurface materials; soil, soil gas, sediment, groundwater, surface water, and stormwater sampling; site characterization; and application of near-surface geophysics techniques.
Allen also has experience in technical report writing, environmental data management, hydrogeology and geochemistry research, and geologic mapping. In his graduate research, Allen analyzed stable isotopes and geochemical parameters in groundwater to study contaminant transport in a karst system in northern Alabama.
Away from the office, Allen enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest through rock climbing, skiing, backpacking, and mountain biking.
