Technology Trends in Commercial Real Estate, Erik Strandhagen, GISP

Erik Strandhagen has over 15 years of professional experience with GIS, remote sensing, and environmental data management. He is an FAA certified remote pilot, a certified GIS Professional, and an American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Certified Map Scientist. His presentation will focus on project examples for the commercial real estate industry using UAS. Toolbox Expansion Pack Panel Presentation, Grant Herbert, GISP

Grant has 14 years of experience in the geospatial field, with expertise in data management, spatial database and server technologies, creating automated GIS tools, and developing Web-based data visualizations. His presentation will discuss how UAS are useful for remediation projects and discuss the benefits, challenges, and costs of using the technology. MFA will provide project UAS examples from upland and in-water remediation conducted at the former Pacific Wood Treating site located in Ridgefield, Washington. UAS remediation examples he will highlight include applications of construction oversight, water quality monitoring, post-remediation monitoring, and the documentation of progress and critical milestones.
