Nick Petersen, CPA, Senior Accountant, Vancouver Office

Nick has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is a licensed CPA. He comes to MFA with a wealth of experience in the accounting world, and we are excited to welcome him to our accounting team, where he is responsible for financial reporting and analysis. Learn more about Nick.

 

Nicole Bruneel, Staff Chemist, Kellogg Office

Nicole is a recent grad of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, where she earned a bachelor’s in chemistry and minor in math. We are thrilled to have her in the Silver Valley supporting sample management for the Coeur d’Alene Trust and data management for MFA overall. Learn more about Nicole.

Emily Hendrickson, Administrative Assistant/Technical Editor, Seattle Office

Emily has a bachelor’s degree and a certificate in editing from University of Washington and has served as Editorial Assistant in multiple internships. At MFA, Emily helps keep our Seattle office running smoothly and uses her expert tech editing skills to ensure our reports are client-ready. Learn more about Emily.

 

Amy Peccia, Senior Environmental Scientist, Portland Office 

Amy has over 17 years of experience in consulting, industry, and agency sectors. Her consulting experience has taken her to the North Slope of Alaska, Costa Rica, the American Southeast, and beyond. Her experience serves clients to ensure they’re operating at their best in the areas of air quality, environmental compliance, stormwater, wastewater, community right-to-know, and hazardous and solid waste management. Tessa Shabram, Staff Engineer, Portland Office

Tessa joins MFA with an academic background in environmental engineering and consulting experience in civil engineering. With her strong technical foundation and design experience in conjunction with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies, she’s currently working on projects with an air quality focus. Ruth McColly, GISP, Senior GIS Analyst, Seattle Office

Ruth joins the GIS team to support our clients and their GIS needs. She has experience in industry, public utilities, and consulting, plus a master’s in GIS. Ruth will put that education, expertise, and perspective to good use, implementing the power and capabilities of GIS. Learn more about Ruth.

 

Amanda Bixby, Staff Geologist, Bellingham Office

Amanda is a recent graduate of Western Washington University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology with a GIS minor. Following graduation, she developed AutoCAD drafting skills while working at a local engineering firm. As a geologist with MFA, Amanda will split her time between the field and the office, where she will put her geology education and spatial analysis skills to use. Learn more about Amanda.

Garrick Kalmeta, EIT, Staff Engineer, Portland Office

Garrick Kalmeta is a graduate of Cal Poly with a degree in Civil Engineering. While in school, Garrick interned at a structural/civil firm, using his AutoCAD, Civil3D, and customer management skills.
