This Veterans Day, we want to recognize those who have served. MFA is very proud to support Andrew Vidourek, a project geologist at MFA. He has served 16 years in the Oregon Army National Guard, including four years as a combat engineer and 12 years as an engineer officer. He has held several positions, including company command of a 131-soldier combat engineer company during a combat tour of duty in Baghdad, Iraq; and a second company command of a 164-soldier construction engineer company during a combat tour of duty in Kuwait, Jordan, and Iraq. Mr. Vidourek has been awarded the 2011 General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award, the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the Combat Action Badge by the U.S. Army.
