Maul Foster & Alongi, Inc. Hires Two New Employees in Seattle
Seattle, WA (April 20, 2015)—Maul Foster & Alongi, Inc. is proud to announce the hiring of Joshua Miller and Andrew Kaparos. Both Mr. Miller and Mr. Kaparos will be working from MFA’s office in downtown Seattle. These new employees will support MFA’s work in the Puget Sound region as the company continues to expand its presence in the greater Seattle area.
Mr. Miller brings with him ten years of GIS and geospatial ex perience pertaining to pollution remediation; irrigation districts; sewer, stormwater, and water utilities; and freshwater resources. He has worked directly with contractors and government agencies, and has represented municipal clients when interacting with the public and developers. Mr. Miller’s GIS capabilities include cartography; geospatial analysis and modeling; geodatabase design and administration; and developing quality assurance and quality control protocols for clients’ GIS. He has experience building GIS data from multiple sources, including CAD drawings, historical as-builts, survey and GPS files, and legal and historical records.
Mr. Kaparos has over eight years of engineering experience. His background includes civil and environmental engineering consulting. Mr. Kaparos has a strong foundation of technical capabilities; significant experience in design and permitting efforts for civil and environmental projects in conjunction with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies and municipal authorities; and a practical understanding of due diligence. He is known for addressing environmental concerns and regulatory compliance in a cost-efficient and timely manner. He has been the project manager for multiple former substation properties in Washington, overseeing the site investigation, characterization, cleanup, and restoration of the properties. He also assisted in composing the remedial investigation report for a 20-acre park in Seattle.
