MFA Promotes Grant Herbert, GISP, to Principal GIS Analyst

MFA is proud to announce the promotion of Grant Herbert, GISP, to principal.

Grant serves as the Director of Technology at FLO Analytics (MFA’s sub-brand focused on GIS and data analytics) where he is responsible for research and development efforts, implementation, and technology process management.

For more than 16 years, Grant has provided GIS expertise to local and national (United States, United Kingdom, and New Zealand) governments; businesses; and organizations. Grant’s expertise encompasses myriad skills including geodatabase design and management, spatial database and server technologies, system and architecture, and GIS integration. His passion for the programming and data integration side of GIS has led to innovations and automations in FLO’s GIS program.

Grant holds a Bachelor of Science degree in geography from Canterbury University in New Zealand, a certificate in GIS analysis from Northern Illinois University, and a Master of Science in geography from Northern Illinois University.
