Project Summary
Smart Wireless retained MFA to complete a sustainability audit of its operations and management in preparation for sustainability certification. MFA completed a sustainability audit of the Retail Support Center branch for Smart Wireless, including establishment of a baseline, mitigation recommendations, and an evaluation of a consumer electronic waste recycling program. The format of MFA's assessment generally follows the Global Reporting Initiative G3 framework as well as the City of Portland Office of Sustainable Development G/Rated Tenant Improvement Guide. The report is designed so that Smart Wireless staff may implement similar procedures at the other branch locations. The report also provides the content necessary to complete a Portland-based certification program.
