Public Involvement
MFA believes that public involvement is an important component of any community-based planning project. An involved public is generally supportive of proposed plans, provided the process is conducted in an open manner with ample time available for review and response. MFA's planning staff uses/employs a variety of methods to solicit public input, including public meetings and open house workshops, surveys, stakeholder interviews, media notices, and public display of proposed plans.
