Environmental Analysis
MFA offers a wide array of GIS services related to environmental cleanup, natural resource management, and conservation. MFA's GIS analysts use GIS to visualize and understand environmental contamination by leveraging spatial analysis and 3D modeling tools to conduct environmental fate and transport modeling. We also provide GIS-based services to support natural resource management projects by conducting topographic and fluvial analyses, hydraulic modeling, watershed analysis, and land use classification. On the conservation front, MFA's GIS analysts have developed tree planting prioritization strategies and land conservation ranking models for nonprofit groups and land trusts.
